Tomato Sambhar is a key South Indian dish, eaten at breakfast, lunch or dinner with rice, idli or dosa. The addition of dal makes it a useful source of protein, so we often prepare this for the girls at Baale Mane.
OOTA RECOMMENDS - pair with idli or dosa and any of our chutney recipes for an authentic South Indian breakfast. For lunch or dinner, pair with beetroot palya and rice.
